midgetsonfire: For specific intervals, think of specific melodies that you already know; for example, a perfect fourth is the same as "here comes the bride", a perfect fifth is the jump in star wars, a major sixth is the NBC theme, stuff like that. I'm only in the serious basics of theory so far (we havent even gotten to chords yet LOL) but maybe that'll help a little!
