He’s never claimed to be an editor. He runs a music ed blog. It doesn’t matter if someone is not a teacher; that person is allowed to care about education and even *gasp* have opinions outside the mainstream about education.

Thank you GWALP. I didn’t really expect a lot of people to side with me, but it’s my opinion and I’m entitled to it. And don’t think that libel doesn’t exist just because we’re on tumblr. It’s still illegal (and this I’m sure about.)
My home blog is radboyscout. If you go to #education, you will see that I am, in fact, an editor.
I, personally, take a look at both sides of an issue, make concessions, and formulate my own opinion. In this case, I felt that the strike is justified for all the right reasons, except for taking the kids out of school. That’s just not right, in my book. If I end up being a classroom teacher and I find myself in this situation, I will make sure that my butt is in the classroom teaching the kids. That is paramount.
